How does the free trial work?
You get 200 sentences free, roughly one chapter. No card and no account. A one-time $19.99 purchase unlocks unlimited reading.
Does it work on a phone?
It opens and reads, but natural voices are usually missing on phones, because mobile browsers often do not expose a voice list. A desktop browser, ideally Edge, gives the best result. On mobile, Cloud Voices with your own ElevenLabs key are the route to natural narration.
Is there a time limit?
No. Your 200 free sentences never expire.
Which file formats can I use?
PDF, EPUB, DOCX, DOC, ODT, RTF, TXT and HTML. Text-based PDFs work. Scanned, image-only PDFs need OCR first.
Which browser gives the best voices?
Microsoft Edge is recommended, because it includes more than 300 free neural voices. Chrome, Firefox and Safari also work.
Can I use my own voice?
Yes, through ElevenLabs. You need a paid ElevenLabs plan and your own API key. Only clone a voice you have permission to use.
Do I need an account?
No. You enter your license key once, with no login and no tracking. It works on multiple devices you personally own. Books are read in your browser.
What is the refund policy?
A 7-day technical guarantee: if the app does not work on your device and support cannot fix it within 48 hours, you get a full refund. A license key that never arrives or a duplicate charge also qualifies. Because the free trial lets you try the app first, there are no refunds for change of mind.
